Every once in a while, as a photographer, you get that one session that you KNOW you knocked out of the park. You hit the home run of home runs. The vibes are immaculate. You feel like you've peaked and/or found your voice, and it somehow transcends everything you thought you could achieve.
Well, this was one of those sessions. <3
Dan and Nicole are such sweet souls with so much love and beauty that is clearly reflected in the photos I captured of them. Nicole had the whole concept planned out, right down to the location and baby's breath and champagne! Despite having forgotten the ring and Dan's last minute trip back home to retrieve it, everything else went as smoothly and naturally as possible. I was beyond lucky that their original photographer canceled so that this whole session was able to happen. With a perfect golden hour and picturesque view of the St. Louis arch, the entire thing felt like a dream.
Did I overshoot? Most likely. Was it worth it? 1000% yes.
